Awards season returned on Tuesday with the Golden Globes making its own comeback after a year hiatus, with celebrities walking down in suits and gowns galore on the red carpet.

The Morning Show's Jeff McArthur and Carolyn MacKenzie were joined Wednesday by style expert Susie Wall to breakdown all the fashion triumphs and misses.

Wall said while it wasn't the bombshell red carpet as expected, it could still be a preemptive sparkle before the Academy Awards. From Angela Bassett and Jennifer Coolidge to Michelle Yeoh and Seth Rogan, there was no shortage of looks to capture people's attention ahead of the awards ceremony.
